David Hahn – Hahn’s work strives for an atmospheric
harmony and symmetry that evolves from the landscape. His compositions
are achieved by a balancing of color, bringing contrasting hues into
areas dominated by opposing colors, thus, creating a mosaic unified by
the patterns of light. The reality of trees, brooks, and waterfalls lose
themselves in a visual transcendent poetry.
Jas Szygiel – Szygiel work is stylized representational
oils that are classically composed. He keeps the artwork inviting by
setting a mood, while subtlety enhancing the visual experience. Focusing
on local and regional landscapes, Szygiel finds unique and mellow light
with selective shadowing to embrace the desired mood. “I’m always
looking for that unique palette that allows the magic to dance between
color, light and shadow.”
